However, a wind turbine should not be confused with a windmill. Unlike a windmill, the mechanical energy of the aerogenerator is turned into electricity. A windmill uses the mechanical energy directly, on the other hand, and performs services like pumping water and grinding stones.Solar energyUsing the sun as its primary source, solar energy obtains light and heat. Solar panels are the most frequently used way to utilize solar energy. However, solar energy has yet to be used to its full potential.Wave energyWave energy isn’t a frequently used system, although individuals are constantly trying to harness the technology. Essentially, wave energy (wave power) is the movement of energy from the force of waves. When the resource is fully utilized, the captured energy will lead to the generation of electricity, water pumping, and water desalination technology.
